Born and raised in West Bloomfield, Noah Arbit is a veteran organizer, public servant, and community leader. Noah has worked for Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan legislature; in 2019, he founded the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus to take on hate and bigotry in our communities, and most recently served in the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office. Noah grew up attending Bloomfield Hills Schools and earned his degree in political science. He and his family are congregants at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

NOAH'S PRIORITIES FOR A MORE RESILIENT MICHIGAN

Noah is committed to supporting legislation that will make Michigan's economy and society stronger and more resilient. In the State House, he will work to tackle Michigan's mental health crisis, particularly among youth; boost regional competitiveness, innovation, and job growth and reverse "brain drain;" support our community's world-class public education and expand financial literacy curriculum; revise Michigan's antiquated hate crimes statute and protect vulnerable communities; defend our constitutional rights - including the freedom to vote, the freedom to choose, and the freedom to love; as well as work to arrest climate change and protect Michigan's natural inheritance.

The 20th District

Michigan's NEW 20th House District comprises all of West Bloomfield Township, eastern Commerce Township along the M-5/Haggerty corridor, as well as the Lakes cities of Orchard Lake Village, Keego Harbor, and Sylvan Lake, and the northwestern-most part of Bloomfield Township along Square Lake and Telegraph roads.
